“It was a great opportunity for NIKOPICTO to participate in the Mifa 2019, which allowed us to gain more exposure on the international market, to meet some potential partners and to explore some financial possibilities to take the development of our short animated movies, such as WUEN, to the next stage.

There were myriad of talks and seminars given by industry professionals at the festival. The one that was particularly impressive to me was about OTT platforms. I have always wanted to know more about them as they are obviously the trend nowadays. The talk was very insightful and the experience sharing by the animators was really impactful and inspirational — it definitely helped me decide the way forward for the development of our short film.

Last but not the least, it was fantastic to experience all the different screenings of the festival around a truly authentic city such as Annecy!”
