Thanks to NAE, our short films can travel around the world! It’s so amazing
that we’ve got such a chance to go to France to attend my own short film’s
screening. Our marketing screening was excellent. During the screening, I took
time to reflect and I only looked at my English subtitles and tried to figure
out if western audience could understand it. I think it’s a very good
reflection whether I should make a universal production or something local for
next project.
It was a good idea to have a Q&A session so that we had a chance to
meet the audience. Some of them stayed and talked with the directors for one
hour! The audience was very passionate and professional. And audiences told me
that they loved the colorfulness, the music and the script of my short film
which cheered me up a lot.

I’m writing a lot of scripts and I love shooting. As a freelance script
writer for feature-length film, this trip sponsored by NAE did inspire me a lot.
This opportunity has definitely broadened my horizon. I met some professionals and
exchanged contacts. We’ve also got a
very warm welcome in Clermont Ferrand. A local association even launched a
cocktail party exclusively for us during the festival. It’s an unforgettable
cultural exchange moment! "
