“If there are no NAE, I
won’t get this chance to join this amazing film festival, I learn a lot about animation
making from other animation directors around the world. And I find that the

animation industry in other country are very different then what we have in
Hong Kong. Compare with them, their instory are more well develop and with more
support, the whole structure are more we develop. They got many support from
animation production to distribution or even broadcast. It is not so we develop
in Hong Kong. From this trip, I have
chance to see the place which are totally different from Hong Kong, I had go to
small towns and small cities, it let me rethink what we have in Hong Kong. Do
we really need to walk so fast? Can we live more simple? What we have in Hong
Kong is just working and working, just like what my film is talking about. So
it is really nice to have a chance to see different way to live.”
