Remarks shared after Festival visit

“The main focus of the festival is the youth in film from different countries. In my view, the festival was well organised and I am glad to meet people from different part of the world. I have got to know many different people of varied culture background. Most of the videos are well produced and stories are told from a unique point of view.

The short film culture in Singapore is quite similar to that of Hong Kong, yet so many minor details have made us so different. For instance, Singaporeans are more proud of their country whereas Hong Kong people are still troubled by our own identities and political issues. My being in this international film festival has allowed me to understand how much does culture cause differences among one another.”
